Bi-lingual Commercial Loan Officer
-
Perform the following duties in both the English and Korean languages:
Originate leads and develop customer relations in the Korean community.
Provide customer service for requests in loan processing and loan origination.
Assist clients with understanding the terms and conditions of loans and loan approvals.
Originate and process SBA loans, commercial real estate loans and residential real estate loans.
Initiate and evaluate all aspects of Small Business Administration (SBA), commercial and home mortgage loans.
Analyze profit and loss aspects of personal, SBA, home mortgage and commercial loans.
Consult with borrowers on business management issues and necessary requirements for origination of business loans.
Analyze business planning for loan clients, and review clients financial performance for loan determination purposes.
Process and evaluate business loan applications, including credit analysis, cash flow analysis and collateral research and appraisal.
Evaluate collateral and security instruments.
Evaluate and recommend approval or denial of SBA, commercial loans, home mortgages, personal and credit loans.
Advise borrowers on credit issues and methods of payment for loans.
Prepare loan documentation and loan disclosure documentation.
Facilitate and complete loan closings for individual, SBA, home mortgage and commercial use.
Manage and evaluate performance of existing loans.
Evaluate and make recommendations for loan modifications as requested by borrowers.
Complete loan performance reports. Monitor business and personal lines of credit as necessary to secure lender interests.
Evaluate and recommend increase in credit limits for borrowers. Determine loan defaults and initiate collection on collateral.
Manage, track and evaluate delinquent loans and accounts. Contact delinquent account holders for evaluation, resolution and collection, if necessary.
Assist in collection efforts for loans in default.
- Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or the foreign equivalent education.
- Ability to read and speak English and Korean language fluently.
